Applying for a grant of probate
If the person who has died has left a will then it would be necessary to apply for a grant of probate. In order to do this the full extent of the assets and liabilities including any liability to Inheritance tax would have to be calculated.

We can assist you to ascertain the size of the estate and to calculate the Inheritance tax and to apply to the Court for a grant of Probate.
